1/22/23 Vlog #6 My Title Screen
Title screens are, well the title of the movie just like Star Wars with the bold yellow text behind space making the text "pop out". My title screen has a pink background with a shadow of the gun being held with the text saying The Lord's Work, there were a lot of errors and things we ran into like trying to put the text on the screen with a third-party font outside of our website. So we had to go on DaFonts this website is where we found our font, so we had to use the snipping tool to snip out the font we wanted the text to be in then go to a different website remove. bg since we couldn't use photoshop to edit out the png background. We then had trouble because by making it a black font it would blend in with the background, but making the text using white font would make it blend into the background of the website making it impossible to snip it out because it would just look like a white box. So we decided to go onto a website called flexclip.com we then took out one font from the different selection of fonts that flex clip had and put the text onto our website over the pink fog and the arms shadow holding a gun. The font was yellow and we decided to use that font because it made the text look like it had a shadow. It was also bold making it pop out, not only that but we also applied a red background on the word work to show that the work and jobs they are doing are dangerous and bloody. We took our drafted product, snipped it, and put it onto google slides so that we were able to put it in presentation mode to snip it, making it look bigger and of higher quality. After that, we decided to present our product, but as soon as we did I noticed some errors the apostrophe was missing, and the red outline was only in one-word work, instead of The Lord's Work all with a red outline. Making a title screen was slightly challenging because we had to work around every single problem by using different websites and finding out how to put the font we wanted onto our title screen. The main issue was not being able to use photoshop, since you can remove png backgrounds and change the color of the font using photoshop it would make it a lot easier if it was accessible. So we used what we had at hand and played with what cards we had at hand using remove. bg and flexclip.com helped a lot.
