2/16/23 Vlog #20 Special Effects

     Special effects are used all the time in the majority of films. Special effects help enhance and create a film well a film. Some examples of special effects can be the lightsabers or shooting of blaster pistols. Special effects can go far from sci-fi films to something as simple as adventure films. Certain special effects I'd like to add to my film to make it extravagant are special effects for gunshots. This will make it safe and simple for us to add things that look real but aren't. The problem with special effects is that they may be hard to add if we are inexperienced with new software like adobe premiere pro. The solution to this problem could be to learn online with walkthrough tutorials on how to do certain things like this video here. Other special effects my group could add are explosions of grenades or vehicles to make the scene seem real. Or the smoking of a cigar to make the character seem intimidating without the actor actually smoking. Special effects are extremely important when it comes to filming and producing. In conclusion, special effects are editing or anything similar to that to make a scene seem more realistic.

    Shooting schedules need to be planned carefully because at any time weather or pandemics can unexpectedly occur at any moment. These issues could even delay a film, ruin a film, or the film wouldn't even be possible to publish to the public. Examples of this can be seen in Black Widow , during the pandemic this movie got delayed because of Covid-19. We will make sure to plan carefully and keep track of the weather and stay on top of other things so that way we can complete our film in time. The way we'd like to organize our shooting schedule can be shown similarly to this photo  keeping everything organized and updating things to date. We would also need to be on top of everyone else's schedules, assuming the fact that people in my group may have plans we would have to find times when everyone is available, to ensure that we will be able to film properly. 1/23/23 Vlog #7 Pros and Cons of being in a group

     Being in a group and working together can be a gift and a curse. This is because one person may agree on something and someone else won't which could create conflict between the group. My group struggled with focusing and getting work done, I had some really good ideas at least I thought they were good ideas and my group disagreed with me. So we all decided to chime in and work together on something we all agreed on. This issue can be seen with James Cameron and Patty Jenkins  as it can be shown two filmmakers were disagreeing with each other. My group may disagree with each other here and there when it comes to ideas but we all have to make sure to all agree on one thing so that no one is mad at each other and we all agree on the same things. We need to improve on working faster that way when the due date comes we are ready to edit little minor problems we have and turn our stuff in. Our next project is the storyboard and scripts which means we have to sit down and talk about
