2/20/23 Vlog #24 Resources

    Different resources that are used in the film vary from cameras to props to things that are used to film. Different people have different specialties and know how to work with certain equipment like cameras. My group is having trouble because we are low-equipped and do not have the resources necessary to create a high-quality film. Snowball microphones would be helpful as the microphones would be attached to our bodies so sound quality would be high. The complication that comes with this is that no one in our group has one. So we could purchase ones or go into our editing software and edit in our voiceovers. Other resources we do not have or are low on our tripods but we could figure that problem out because our teacher has some we could borrow. We have cameras on our phones that we could use and everyone in our group knows how to operate them. But the problem is other equipment that we will need and borrow may not be as easy to use as a phone camera so our group will need to learn how to use these new technologies. The technologies and equipment I am referring to are lights or reflectors/umbrellas to reflect light. Equipment is important because it can make a film of higher quality to make the film more appealing to the viewer.

    Shooting schedules need to be planned carefully because at any time weather or pandemics can unexpectedly occur at any moment. These issues could even delay a film, ruin a film, or the film wouldn't even be possible to publish to the public. Examples of this can be seen in Black Widow , during the pandemic this movie got delayed because of Covid-19. We will make sure to plan carefully and keep track of the weather and stay on top of other things so that way we can complete our film in time. The way we'd like to organize our shooting schedule can be shown similarly to this photo  keeping everything organized and updating things to date. We would also need to be on top of everyone else's schedules, assuming the fact that people in my group may have plans we would have to find times when everyone is available, to ensure that we will be able to film properly. 1/23/23 Vlog #7 Pros and Cons of being in a group

     Being in a group and working together can be a gift and a curse. This is because one person may agree on something and someone else won't which could create conflict between the group. My group struggled with focusing and getting work done, I had some really good ideas at least I thought they were good ideas and my group disagreed with me. So we all decided to chime in and work together on something we all agreed on. This issue can be seen with James Cameron and Patty Jenkins  as it can be shown two filmmakers were disagreeing with each other. My group may disagree with each other here and there when it comes to ideas but we all have to make sure to all agree on one thing so that no one is mad at each other and we all agree on the same things. We need to improve on working faster that way when the due date comes we are ready to edit little minor problems we have and turn our stuff in. Our next project is the storyboard and scripts which means we have to sit down and talk about
