     Different resources that are used in the film vary from cameras to props to things that are used to film. Different people have different specialties and know how to work with certain equipment like cameras . My group is having trouble because we are low-equipped and do not have the resources necessary to create a high-quality film. Snowball microphones would be helpful as the microphones would be attached to our bodies so sound quality would be high. The complication that comes with this is that no one in our group has one. So we could purchase ones or go into our editing software and edit in our voiceovers. Other resources we do not have or are low on our tripods but we could figure that problem out because our teacher has some we could borrow. We have cameras on our phones that we could use and everyone in our group knows how to operate them.   Actors, As far as actors go are the main part of films and either act as the main character or animals in a film. For example, the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park were actors. Actors play out the main characters in the film or just contribute on stage and end up on the screen. In our group the problem is we do not have actors, we are a three-man crew so acting is hard. I am the cameraman and the other two members of the group are actors. A solution to this problem is finding friends or family members that are willing to contribute towards our project. Another complication is whether they will follow the script and act decently enough to ensure that the film gets completed. Although actors don’t have to follow the script and even make the movie better.   Music is extremely important when it comes to filming to help increase the setting and overall mood of certain scenes. If there is a scene that contains action there would be an upbeat hype adrenaline rush type song. If a scene is sad it may be a slow type of song that sounds sad, similar to this scene from Up . In my film, I’d like to include Italian music, after all this film includes Italian mafia gangs that are religious so an almost festive-sounding upbeat song like this , while the gang beat each other up, would create irony and be perfect. The complications with this would be the timing and putting the song in. But to fix this my group will use editing software to time it perfectly and sound high quality. Other songs I was thinking of implementing into my film are songs like Thunderstruck by AC/DC.      Sound effects are similar to special effects but special effects are graphics while sound effects are things you hear in a film. Sound effects vary from turning on a lightsaber to opening a door. Sound effects help create diegetic sound in a film that a character reacts to or non-diegetic sound that a character doesn't react to. Either way sound effects are extremely important when it comes to film because it adds to a sense of what is happening. In my film sound effects I'd like to add are the sounds of gunshots  that the characters get hit by or react to in order to make the scene even more dramatic. The main issue with this is not knowing how to use the software properly or having to mess up and restart. Another sound effect we could include is the creaking of a door opening to make a character seem more intimidating or scary similar to this clip in The Conjuring .      Special effects are used all the time in the majority of films. Special effects help enhance and create a film well a film. Some examples of special effects can be the lightsabers or shooting of blaster pistols . Special effects can go far from sci-fi films to something as simple as adventure films. Certain special effects I'd like to add to my film to make it extravagant are special effects for gunshots. This will make it safe and simple for us to add things that look real but aren't. The problem with special effects is that they may be hard to add if we are inexperienced with new software like adobe premiere pro. The solution to this problem could be to learn online with walkthrough tutorials on how to do certain things like this video here. Other special effects my group could add are explosions of grenades or vehicles to make the scene seem real.      Storyboards are crucial when it comes to filming because it shows how the story and film will be played out. No matter what film it may be there will always be a screenplay or storyboard to show the actors and producers what will happen and how. In my case what was guiding me and my storyboard was different films that had a similar concept to mine. For example, my group wanted to make our film and story similar to the godfather's screenplay so we tied up religion and mafia gangs together. As you can see here in our script  so far we want to create a storyboard similar to the godfather so that is what guided the storyboard. The main parts of our film that we had to explore and expose were the part that they are violent but supported religion. The reasoning for this is that it creates a sense of irony that they are religious although they kill other people.      Lighting is the use of well light to create maybe the emphasis on a character like a spotlight for example. Even backlighting so that the character's silhouette appears to make them seem like a mysterious dark monster or figure. In my film, I will use light to poke through certain holes like a fence to let a bit of light in but to the point where you could only see SOME of the character's faces. For this particular scene, I'd want to make it similar to that of this scene . This will be challenging because we'd have to make sure we have enough light going through the holes to show some of the characters to keep them "mysterious" in a way. Although scenes that we will be filming outside will require the use of natural lighting, using the sun's light will be useful for scenes that require going outside.
