     Multiple shots are used in film to emphasize the mood and tone of what’s happening in the scene. for example oblique angle shots could be used for setting tones for an action scene like this photo from Thor  https://i.pinimg.com/originals/5b/84/ba/5b84ba3cbf8419241bfc0731018206b5.jpg . The different variations of shots we would use would be for one scene we’d have a high angle shot of the car pulling into the Church to show the whole scene and where the next setting is. There would be a shot of all of the men exiting the vehicle with a long take of all of them going towards the church. The boss will hold the handle of the church and the camera would zoom into his hand holding the doorknob similar to this scene from Home Alone   https://youtu.be/ImnDp7ZyPCA . Since it shows the thought of should he enter the church in my movies case. After he enters the church there will be a shot of the two goons outside of the church a medium low angle shot showing their power and dominance. It w

    Shooting schedules need to be planned carefully because at any time weather or pandemics can unexpectedly occur at any moment. These issues could even delay a film, ruin a film, or the film wouldn't even be possible to publish to the public. Examples of this can be seen in Black Widow , during the pandemic this movie got delayed because of Covid-19. We will make sure to plan carefully and keep track of the weather and stay on top of other things so that way we can complete our film in time. The way we'd like to organize our shooting schedule can be shown similarly to this photo  keeping everything organized and updating things to date. We would also need to be on top of everyone else's schedules, assuming the fact that people in my group may have plans we would have to find times when everyone is available, to ensure that we will be able to film properly. Some issues with shooting may be that people might not want to cooperate and we'd have to make a completely new

    Locations when it comes to movies are very important, it sets the whole mood and tone of the scene. Not only does it set the mood and tone but the setting can symbolize what's going on and why. For example, just like in this fighting scene in Rocky , it is seen that he is in a boxing ring fighting his opponent while the whole crowd cheers. This can show an example of how location and setting can affect a film. We decided for the introduction of our film we'd want to start in a car and drive the car and as the car arrives at its destination our characters will get out. The destination they are going to is a church because the mafia boss "main character" is religious and he goes and sits down with the priest. The next setting that will take place in the confessional where the boss is talking to the priest about how and why he did what he did, as they are talking it will transition into the next scene and brand new setting. It will be outside of the church where the

     A genre is a category of a certain book or movie, for example, Iron Man's genre is action because of all the action, and fight scenes that go on during the film. My movie's genre will also be action, I will include different fight scenes like this scene from The Godfather . We decided to go with action since we were inspired by all the different epic combat scenes there will be in the film. Our movie will be filled with action scenes and fights to make sure our film is the definition of action. When viewers think of action they think of fighting, hero vs villain, and shooting, I want my film to include and provide more than the hero vs villain hero wins cliche. I find that when the villain is more dominant and wins more often it makes the film more interesting. This means that the better the villain will is the more it will take to defeat him the more it will take to defeat means more action, more fights, and harder battles.      Being in a group and working together can be a gift and a curse. This is because one person may agree on something and someone else won't which could create conflict between the group. My group struggled with focusing and getting work done, I had some really good ideas at least I thought they were good ideas and my group disagreed with me. So we all decided to chime in and work together on something we all agreed on. This issue can be seen with James Cameron and Patty Jenkins  as it can be shown two filmmakers were disagreeing with each other. My group may disagree with each other here and there when it comes to ideas but we all have to make sure to all agree on one thing so that no one is mad at each other and we all agree on the same things. We need to improve on working faster that way when the due date comes we are ready to edit little minor problems we have and turn our stuff in. Our next project is the storyboard and scripts which means we have to sit down and talk about

 Title screens are, well the title of the movie just like Star Wars with the bold yellow text behind space making the text "pop out". My title screen has a pink background with a shadow of the gun being held with the text saying The Lord's Work , there were a lot of errors and things we ran into like trying to put the text on the screen with a third-party font outside of our website. So we had to go on DaFonts  this website is where we found our font, so we had to use the snipping tool to snip out the font we wanted the text to be in then go to a different website remove. bg  since we couldn't use photoshop to edit out the png background. We then had trouble because by making it a black font it would blend in with the background, but making the text using white font would make it blend into the background of the website making it impossible to snip it out because it would just look like a white box.            Different directors create movies that are based on or similar to other films. For example, the marvel is similar to DC with different heroes and different villains but the same or similar concept. I want my film to be similar to the Godfather . There are certain targets and specific people they are after and he is a part of the Italian mafia . This man wants the godfather to kill someone for revenge and "justice" as he calls it. My character will be hiring people to kill and hunt a certain group because of conflict but it will be a similar concept. The goons will be the ones called and requested to kill someone, not the boss himself. The boss will just call the goons and tell the goons what their job is and once they meet the request the boss will pay them for the job they got done similar to the movie Hitman who is hired to kill the president . Although he doesn't get payment for killing people, he was born to kill. In my movie, the goons will be trained and

  Color can have a great effect on a movie whether it's clothing, the color of the room they are in, or even props. Color can be a useful tool when it comes to showing how different characters feel and represent. I want the main character, the boss to be wearing a black colored suit showing that he is empty and feels no remorse for the people he kills. Similar to John Wick he goes around killing people not caring about them or their lives but just seeking revenge. Black will be my color choice also because it is a simple color. But a boss is a complicated man and having more of a background than just wanting to kill people gives off the effect that there is more to him than just that. The mobsters will be wearing sleeveless white T-shirts showing that they are simple and basic just doing what they are told by the boss. But they will also be wearing black sunglasses symbolizing they are meant to be hidden and away from being noticed. The priest will be wearing a black vestment with

      Social Commentary is how this film will impact society and what goes on in the real world. My short film will emphasize the fact that there is too much violence in the world and there are other ways to solve things than just violence. The gang that is hunting down their targets represents there is too much conflict between groups and certain people that shouldn't have conflict. Similar to the book and film Ponyboy where there is a group called the Socs and the Greasers. The Mafia boss being a religious person shows that even if someone believes in something good there can always be something bad that they are  hiding and doing. This shows that no matter how nice or good a person may seem they could be doing something that no one knows similar to Walter White in Breaking Bad , a drug dealer that hides his secret away from his family and friends .  The way the people they are hunting down will act is nervous and scared showing how people are frightened and don't want confl

  As far as characters and characterization go I want to make the mafia boss wear black a black suit and bowtie to make him look professional and intimidating similar to The Godfather . I want him to speak calmly with a slow pace and different hand gestures suggesting that he means business. The priest will be wearing a vestment making him look like a powerful religious leader and talk calmly and comfortably like a father or a parent. The goons will be wearing slightly stained sleeveless white T-shirts with black glasses. This will show they do dirty work and the dark tainted glasses will represent that they are hiding their identity and staying mysterious or undercover. The goons will have a monotone straight face throughout the whole intro showing they are serious about what they are doing. just like Darth Vader who can't make any facial expressions and is intimidating because of that like in this scene from Star Wars . The targets that the mafia boss is after will be scared and

      The intention I have for my viewers is to make them feel ominous and curious as to what is happening and why my characters are doing what they are doing. I will use dark lighting to make the whole scene mysterious. it will add a layer of confusion as everything is dark it is hard to see what is going on. I want the viewer to understand that there is a conflict between the mafia boss and the people around him and that he has these goons to help him out with his work aka hitmen. My intention for the viewer is to make him/her scared and worried about the group's targets and make the viewer feel pitiful of the targets. along with making them worried I want to make them wonder why and what was the purpose of killing these people? whether it was for revenge or just because there is a conflict between the people they are after and the only way to settle things is with brute force and violence. For example in John Wick (Directed by Chad Stahelski) the character John Wick hunted down
